Tana Stevenson
Tana Stevenson served 12 years as a combat camera photojournalist in the U.S. Air Force. She specialized in aerial and documentary photography during exercises and real-world contingencies. She has been published worldwide and won numerous awards. She was selected by Harper Collins as "one of the world's 100 best military photographers" to shoot for a Day in the Life of the U.S. Armed Forces (2002). She was the DoD Military Sports Photojouranlist of the Year (1995). She has been a staff member at many photography workshops from the 1990s through 2011 including the Eddie Adams Barnstorm Workshop, DoD annual Photography Workshop, and most recently served as an assistant editor at Momenta's Project New Orleans Workshop in May 2011. Currently, she is the owner of Fruits of My Lens Photography serving the Greater New Orleans and Northshore with portraits, corporate and event photography. She continues to pursue her love of photojournalism through personal projects, one-on-one lessons, and her photography blog. She was a participant of the Visual One Media New Orleans Shoot Off in September 2011.
