Sara White
Sara White makes prints, drawings, and other strange creations in the upper ninth ward in New Orleans. Sara practiced printmaking and mixed-media studio art at Loyola University in New Orleans and continues working independently in the printshop at Loyola as well as a local letterpress shop. Sara taught relief printmaking and an "improv-installation" class using recycled materials at the Putney School in southern Vermont, and she has shown her work in a number of local spaces and publications. She recently created a small print and stationery series Southern Pest Prints, which was recently shown at the 2009 NOLA Bookfair.
