INTRO TO MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY
INSTRUCTOR: CHARLES BUSH
SUNDAY 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
DECEMBER 9, 2018 (ONE DAY WORKSHOP)
Macro photography is photographing small objects. Flowers, Jewelry, insects, etc. It can be challenging due to the limited distance things are in focus with photographing closeup.
The course will explore different methods and equipment from the simple and inexpensive to the complex and costly. The class will consist of a discussion of the equipment and techniques and will include several demonstration projects. Lighting, equipment selection, and focusing techniques will be explored in depth.
Students should have a good understanding of their equipment and how to use it. If student has any macro equipment bring it along and feel free to photograph the example exercises. The basic or intermediate photography class would be helpful, but is not a prerequisite.
