INTRODUCTION TO BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY
INSTRUCTOR: CHARLES BUSH
SATURDAY 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM
MARCH 25, 2018 (ONE DAY WORKSHOP)
My primary photographic focus for the past 20 years has been on making images of birds. We are very fortunate to live in Louisiana as we have some of the most interesting places to photograph birds in North America in our reach. Until recently photographing birds has been a costly proposition, however now with the advent of very good inexpensive digital cameras very good results can be achieved with a fairly modest investment.
The course will cover selecting equipment, technique, and when and where to photograph here in Louisiana. It will include numerous examples of my work from places where I create my images. It will cover technical subjects such as how to get proper exposure, focusing methods and techniques, composition and numerous how to tips. Join us in an interesting day of discussing bird photography.
This class will be lecture and discussion only, no field work will be included with the class.
