Bird photography is both challenging and enjoyable. This course will explore this interesting subject and includes:
1. Where to photograph birds, in Louisiana and throughout the country. We are fortunate in the state to have a habitats for many species. In addition, some of the best locations throughout the country will be explored. 2. Types of birds to photograph. From sea birds, to wading birds to song birds. 3. Techniques, from photographing at a bird feeder to birds in flight. Both using natural light and flash. 4. The equipment required, from the simplest setups to sophisticated professional equipment, what to choose and how to use it.
Examples of photographs will be presented as well as the stories behind getting the shots. Equipment will be shown and setup. Techniques will be discussed and demonstrated.
