This two day course is an intensive introduction to transparent watercolor techniques. We will start on the first day with the basics of watercolor painting, from washes to glazing to color mixing. Once students have grasped the general principles, they will complete a painting of a still life. The following day students will complete a painting of more complex subject matter, en plein air if weather permits, indoors if not.
