Students will build upon the foundations of acrylic painting through exercises in still life, light and shadow, and painting from photographs. Students will become comfortable with basic color theory, paint manipulation, composition, and basic representational technique. This course is intended for beginner to intermediate level painters to gain confidence in their abilities and develop skills in acrylic painting. We will focus on the development of personal painting styles and artistic voice throughout the course.

Level: Any. Basic knowledge of drawing is helpful, but not required.
Class price: Register before December 24: $280, register December 24 – January 6: $310
Register before February 20: $280, register February 20 – March 4: $310
Materials: $145 for beginner’s kit
