A continuing class for students who have some experience in oil painting that wish to advance their skills in figurative work. Students will work from both plaster forms and live models, focusing on the head, to accurately render human portraits. The class will include the initial sketching of faces to translate into paintings, and instruction on how to mix realistic skin tones in oil paint.

Level: Must have completed Beginning Oil Painting or equivalent course. Experience drawing the human form recommended.
Class price: Register before December 25: $250, register December 25 – January 7: $280
