PMC EARRINGS
INSTRUCTOR: KATHARINE PREJEAN
SATURDAY 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
DECEMBER 16, 2017 (ONE DAY WORKSHOP)
Spend the morning creating one-of-a-kind earrings as a gift or for yourself!
In just 3 hours, you will learn how to make earrings out of fine silver metal clay. The great part about metal clay is a piece of jewelry can be made in a matter of a few hours without all the expensive equipment required if making jewelry the traditional way.
You will learn how to roll and texture fine silver metal clay, fire it using a butane torch, as well as polishing/finishing techniques.
But it does not stop there, the student also creates their own earring wires by bending and hammering them into shape.
The fee includes all materials: metal clay and sterling wire for the earrings and use of tools in class, and a toolkit to take home! All you have to do is show up! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
This is a class you can take class over and over and bring home your own one of a kind jewelry.
