This two day workshop is for students of all skill levels who want instruction in making charcoal drawings from life. Drawing from life is an important part of any artistic practice, and the opportunity to do so with focused instruction will be beneficial to anyone wishing to improve their eye and hand in drawing. The subject matter on the first day will be a still life, and on the second day we will have a model. The class will focus on using line and value to build form, and on gesture drawing. It will be fun as well as educational!
