DRAWING FOR CHILDREN II

Description: A continuation of Beginning Drawing for Children, this is a class for anyone between the ages of 10 and 15 who wants to learn how to draw. Each two hour class will start with a half hour of gesture drawing, followed by exercises in pencil and charcoal designed to develop line quality and improve ability so "see" subject matter and interpret it. As students progress, each one will embark on individual projects that suit their interests and abilities, eventually devoting half of each class period to this activity. This class is ongoing, and as students learn and cease to be "beginners," the teaching will become more advanced, allowing students to grow at their own pace.
Level: Children over 10 only, some Drawing for Children I or some drawing experience.
Class price: $162
Materials fee: paper as needed, bring supplies from previous class. Materials can be purchased as needed at a 20% discount in store.
