This class will be an overview of three alphabets using the broad edge pen, italic, foundational, and uncial letterforms. The use of a dip pen will be taught, along with proper spacing, correct posture and good writing practices. Creative applications for using calligraphy in your everyday life will be introduced. We will get an in depth look at each “hand” and one project per class. This is a great class for students who have taken an introduction class, but beginners are welcome.
