SEPTEMBER 30 – OCTOBER 1, 2017 (2 DAY WEEKEND WORKSHOP)

Come and learn a modern calligraphy hand with a focus on capitals. The use of a dip pen and ink will be taught, along with proper spacing, correct posture and good writing practices. Students will learn basic gilding. We will spend most of the classes practicing letter forms. One quotation will be worked through into a finished layout. By the end of the course, all students will have a finished piece of calligraphy that includes gilding.
