Description: In this class we will learn two advanced book binding techniques, spending two class periods on each. The first two weeks will focus on Western Case binding, and the second two weeks we will learn Coptic binding. Each student will be able to make two of each kind of book, with lots of room for creative expression. The class is taught studio-style, with demos at the beginning of the session, followed by time to work independently with individual instructor assistance always available.
Level: Book binding experience helpful, but not necessary.
